The funding from Townshippers' will support research- and exhibition-related components of the project in the Eastern Townships.

At an annual grant-giving luncheon today in Magog, QAHN Executive Director Matthew Farfan thanked Townshippers' Foundation President Jane Loiselle for the support.

"This is a very exciting project," Farfan said. "We will look at identity in the Gaspé and the Outaouais, and, of course, right here in the Eastern Townships. Thank you so much for your contribution."
