Celebrate Canada’s 150th in Hatley!

This Saturday, July 1st, is Canada’s 150th birthday and, for the 109th time, the community of Hatley will welcome everyone to The Common for a special day of extra fun and celebration. This year’s free event will be highlighted by the unveiling of the newest Pioneer Trail Character, Reverend Stewart, on the Common after the parade. There will also be short dramatic presentations in St. James Church (two in French at 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm, and two in English at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm) that tie in with the unveiling and the history of Hatley. There is no charge to attend these professionally done theatrical presentations, but tickets are required and are available at the Community Centre on July 1st.
