You are cordially invited to join us for our next event. In collaboration with the Institute of Quebec Studies located at the State University of New York (SUNY) in Plattsburgh, the ETRC will hold its Annual Quebec Studies Colloquium, entitled “Quebec: Past & Present,” on March 31 and April 1, 2017 at Bishop’s University (Cleghorn Room in the McGreer building). This event will be dedicated to exploring several facets of past and contemporary Quebec society:

Insights into Quebec Contemporary Social Issues
Quebec’s Literary Scene
Quebec Society from a Student’s Perspective
Historical Borderlands
Contemporary Cross-Border Relations
Environmental Studies
Visual Culture

The keynote address for this event will be delivered by Nina Maria Fite, United States Consul General in Montreal. Consul General Fite has spent more than 20 years of her career focusing on trade, environmental issues and post-conflict economic development. She served as Consul General in Lahore, Pakistan from 2011 to 2014
